Drum Lamp Shades

One of our most popular lamp shades is the solid and custom printed drum shade.Drum lamp shades have the same top and bottom diameter and are typically much wider than a long cylinder lamp shade. When matched with the right lamp base and the correct proportions, a drum lamp shade will have very appealing effect on  your lamp base.  It is very  common nowadays to see drum shapes on  floor lamps and give off a great amount of light compared to lamp shades with small tops. Most all drum shades fit on top of what is called a harp, and the size can be adjusted by buying  different sizes of harps from your local hardware or lamp store. Our best selling size drum shade is our 16" diameter by 9" in height, which fits just about most table lamp bases.

Its amazing what a lamp shade can do to the intensity and look of your living and business space. With the right lamp shade, a plain or out dated table or floor lamp base can become transcended out of the ordinary into an interesting and very enjoyable light.  It will brighten and liven up the whole space, giving it a whole new look. Most customers are so used to the same old tapered, white or off white lamp. Most people don’t think about the huge gains of an attractive shade can offer.  So if the the best fit for a given condition is a drum  shade or a tall cylinder or an oval lamp shade, it is always worth taking abit of time to explore all the possibilities.
